PLAY THERAPY RESEARCH

Contents

Introduction

The BAPT Research Sub-Committee was established in 2002. The Research Sub-Committee is now co-ordinated by Claire Harrison-Breed and Sonia Murray.

The BAPT Research Sub-Committee plays an important role in BAPT's commitment to develop, support, promote/publicise and encourage research.

The BAPT Research Sub-Committee contributes to BAPT's overall aim to develop the play therapy profession and to make it widely recognised and understood by the general public, consumers, purchasers, and by allied professionals.

BAPT Research Sub-Committee Activities

  • We develop the Directory of Play Therapy Research;

  • We provide feedback to consultations from government bodies, teaching institutions and funding bodies to enhance Play Therapy Research;

  • We liaise with key external bodies to help shape matters of policy relating to play therapy research;

  • We endeavour to reply to enquiries from BAPT members and the public concerning published Play Therapy Research;
